The RE Hotel London Shoreditch

This is a really nice hotel in a great area. Loads of bars and cool places nearby in trendy Hackney. The bar shows sports and has a really nice selection of drjnkjns which are all reasonably priced - particularly considering the area the hotel is located in. There are really nice rooms which are comfortable and I enjoyed staying in very much. Thank you for a great stay. I am looking forward to returning soon!!!

Clean hotel in convenient location.
Be careful ... they advertise free car parking when on line booking but charged us £20 per day and would not honour or take responsibility for the on line offer. Were actually quite rude about it.
No help with suitcases ... not the Aussie way!!

Not great. Maybe I just had a bad room but the mattress was old and knackered with completely shot springs. Pillows were foam and uncomfortable. Towels were scratchy and worn. The TV was old tiny with a broken remote and the picture was cropped. It’s about a 15 minute walk from the nearest tube and although it purports to be in (up and coming) Shoreditch, it’s actually in the somewhat less gentrified Bethnal Green. On the plus side it’s usually reasonably priced and the staff are excellent.

I stayed at The RE Hotel London Shoreditch overnight and was extremely happy with the price I paid for the stay, the hotel and the overall service. The room (Superior Double) was spacious and comfortable and the staff were all helpfully, friendly and polite. Will definitely be using this hotel again in the future.

positives: very dark, quiet room. Quiet in general - quick to check in and out and they stored our suitcases whilst we went shopping. Big room, excellent shower. complimentary water, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cookies! Negatives : bed sheet and pillows dirty with what looked like fake tan, not nice. Cleaners didn't know we were checking out do knocked on door trying to clean room at 9.30 and didn't really understand us when we explained. Bar tender talking to two men when we tried to get a drink, they already had drinks but he took a long time to serve us and we had to ask three times for an Archers and lemonade, even pointing the Archers out.
