Spanish bartender was SO RUDE. I can't believe she's still got a job there- I've heard so many negative things about this bar solely because of the poor service that they give. They were advertising a 'witchcraft exhibition' which was basically a few things that they hung up on the walls, and they told us to be quick and get out of there because there were people eating. DO NOT GO!!!

Absolutely fabulous place, it was like coming home. Somewhere where the misfits fit. Like going home. Curious curiosities. Amazing cocktails and nibbles. Love it

The "museum" downstairs is well worth the fiver, if you get lucky they will have their "petting zoo" on so you can hold snakes and tarantulas and stuff. The bar above is okay. Good absynth with traditional fountains and spoons etc which you can operate yourself. For £30 for 2 shots I'd expect it to be impressive though

Just moved to Hackney, went for a beer and the next second I was holding a snake on my hand. Weird? -Yes. Cool? - Definitely. Super friendly and experienced bartenders. Perfect spot to have a nice chat with your mates.
