Great caperinyha cocktail in lively basement bar. Great music although sound needs improving, bit boomy

Walking by the colours and music made us step inside. The atmosphere was great.
Cocktails were ok, food not so good. Friendly staff and there was also table service.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I was kicked out of line about 15 minutes ago for being “too drunk”. There was no substance for this at all. The bouncer was going through the line picking people at random to throw out. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. You can find much better places to spend your money.

Scratched on the neck and threatened by the bouncers....HOW ARE THE BOUNCERS STILL WORKING THERE WHEN NUMEROUS PEOPLE HAVE COMMENTED ABOUT HOW RUDE THEY ARE?!
When I go to a bar I want to feel safe and secure, which is why I have respect for bouncers who are sometimes a little strict because they are only doing their job. However, last night at barrio, which used to be one of my favourite bars in London; I felt threatened and assaulted. My friends were ahead of us and told the bouncers that there is two more people coming, the bouncers said "that's fine, 10 more minutes at the bar."As I approach to open the door the bouncer immediately becomes aggressive and shouts at me not to go in. I try to explain that my friends are just inside but both bouncers continue to be so rude and have so much unnecessary attitude. To be honest I was just shocked and it escalated quickly whereby one of the bouncers starts to threaten me as a women and then says "I hope you get cancer in your minge" I mean how disgusting is that to say to someone, I was absolutely horrified! The bouncer then goes to hit me but instead scratches me on the neck. My male friend who was with me tried to protect me but the bouncer starts pushing him up against a wall and then tries to hit him too! These bouncers need to be fired, instead of preventing violence at this bar, they are only promoting it.This is not the way to treat anyone just wanting to go into a bar to have a drink. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

This used to be my favourite bar in London and I would still go there every week were it not for the doorman/bouncer they've got now. He's always extremely rude and got plenty of attitude for nothing - I just can't be bothered anymore. Congratulations to whoever hired him!
