Great place to find a variety of vegs, pound shops and fresh fishes.

Makes getting around the area a bit hard, very slow walkers, the fruit and fish doesn't seem the freshest as I think it is just hauled out for the market every day. I've had some semi-mouldy pineapples but also so really yummy ones! Very cheap. Can get a pineapple, basket of kiwis, bananas, strawberries and melon for like 4£. Friendly clerks if you are engaging and friendly too. I live on the market.

Dirty filthy stinks of urine the market traders throw rubbish on floor also spit everywhere looks tired filthy too many rubbish stalls no variety. The food looks rotten would not buy anything of those stalls. All the good stalls gone fruit and vegetables and plant stall. It needs deep clean and they need to close the underground part too many druggies and also need more bins needs completely to be gutted the idea store is already looking dirty bins outside panes of glass broken complete waste of money.

This is my honest opinion on the quality of the market. In general, it's an amazing unusual place. Me and my children always have the best time going down the market, we have stop giggling. Right, where shall I start? Down to business, let's start with Iceland, when the druggies sneak in to steal pork chops, the security man runs but never catch him, he never gets too far. At least he tries to burn some calories.
Then you get the uniform shop Ocean designs, the home of Herbert the pervert, he's not interested in selling, rather he takes interest in women's cleavages, he doesn't look at the size of the clothes, he looks at the shape of your body, so make sure u shake it.
When you get into the heart of the market, you find the fruit sellers rubbing n massaging between the toes n soon after offering you cheap rotten "fresh" fruit. Hygiene is always first!
And last but not least, the optician who is so business orientated, he gives himself good reviews and his mono brow is bushy.
