I've been coming to this restaurant around ten times a year since 2010. Specifically to this one, Santiago F or the other one that opened recently, both serving the exact same recipe don't interest me.

The waiters are professional and welcoming. The decor is the typical Portuguese restaurant, if you want modern you can to the other locations, the food is the same. Some days of the week, specially during the summer, the wait can be daunting. Normally, once the summer ends, it all calms down, unless Coliseu has an event sold out that night.

But the star is definitely the Francesinha. For me, this is the best Francesinha in Porto, I've tried many others since I moved here in 2010, but this one is the best IMHO. The ingredients, the confection, the chips, and, obviously, the sauce 💜

The best part for me is the consistency. As I said, I've been coming for years. In all this time, not once I was served a bad Francesinha; this why I believe Santiago deserves 5 stars and this is also why I recommend it to everyone.

So tasty, fast and authentic! Clean place, the food is one of the best I've had in Portugal! Best of porto

I'm just adding to the other rave reviews... order the house special, a triple decker FEAST of ham, steak, and salami covered in cheese and topped off with an egg. Fast and super friendly service. Packed with tourists, but worth the wait. Don't confuse this place with the similarly named Santiago around the corner. A true Porto culinary legend.

Ok, You know why you came here so no need to mess to deeply dig into the Menu. Order the Red Velvet wine to go with the feast of food. The place came heavily recommended by a locale who had lived in Porto all his life. Take a look at the customers. You will seen that a large portion of them are not tourists but neighborhood people out for a delicious night on the town. don;t hesitate to enjoy the moment and the food.

Worth trying but plain taste. No special flavour, also not traditional. Not Portuguese, but rather American. Inside is clean and cosy. If you happen to come nearby, you may visit. But you don't have to visit here just for foods.
