Great place to spend evenings! Great route setting, nice people, good tunes and cold beer!!

Small gym with excellent vibes. One of my favourite places in Geneva, but not everyone may feel the same.

Hard to find, small, and grungy, but a great place to train. If you're new to climbing or are used to American style gyms, you likely won't enjoy Pan. If you're looking to get sweaty, dirty, and break your body down when you can't climb outside, you will get your 10chf worth. Setting is creative and tries to take advantage of the small space. When you're dead, enjoy a beer before catching the tram back home.

A small bouldering gym tucked away between industry warehouses. As someone else said, this place can be hard to find, and even easier to walk by without realizing it. I posted a photo of their nondescript door to help those travelers attempting to venture there for the first time. You will feel like you aren't in the right area, but trust me you are. It really is just down that street and through a door with no indications of what is inside.

As for the gym itself, it's actually not super tiny, there is a tremendous caving area larger then cave area I've seen before actually, and it's certainly got enough variation on its walls though I had trouble reading the routes in parts. Shoe rental is mostly trying to find a pair that fits so be prepared for some trial and error.

Still it's a neat place and a good way to burn some time if you have a layover in Geneva and want to get your climb on.

I was recently on vacation in Geneva and desperately needed to rock climb. I found this gym online and decided to give it a go with my sister. First off, the gym was very hard to find, even with the aid of a GPS. We had to ask a guy in the area where it was and even with his help we barely saw the sign. It is a single door and has a very small sign but it is actually at the address listed on the website. If you can't find it in your car, park and walk down the street and look closely in the middle of the block for the door. When we walked in we walked up the stairs to a bar where the bartender (also gym manager ) took 20 euros from us (two people) then told us to pick out some shoes. The price is 10 francs/person and it's cash only. We didn't have to sign a waiver which was a surprise being used to gyms in the US. The collection of rental shoes was a mix of sizes and brands all in average to poor condition. However, I did find a pair of Sportiva Muras in my size which I enjoyed trying out. This gym has two floors. The second floor consists of a bar, a fooseball table and a few couches. There was mostly men in the gym. We only saw one other woman when we were there. Most people on the second floor were smoking and drinking beer. The first floor has the climbing area. It is very small but it does have a cool structure. There is an awesome cave on the right side which offers a lot of opportunities to practice overhang routes. However the routes are not marked very well. Its difficult to compare the difficulties of the routes to US bouldering scale. The rocks are old and not cleaned often so they are slippery to hold . There are no easy rock holds to get down when you top out on the islands but there are stairs to get down if you top out on the second floor. I ended up making up my own training route in the cave. Finally, we could not find a woman's bathroom and only found a small changing room and a urinal! Overall, I did get some climbing in which was the goal, but the smoking was irritating and the routes could have been better.
