Great place... Fantastic service.. Seated immediately and my custom felt valued... Go for the ANCHO steak.. Already booked for our Christmas staff party.. Cant wait.. Highly recommended... Never had a bad meal...

The steak was lovely here, probably the best steak I have eaten out! You have to go down some stairs to get into the building and the building itself can get quite warm downstairs but all in all very good food.

A delightfully tacky interior, covered in hairy cow hides and leather clearly telegraphs what Gaucho's is about, and its all bovine. I've been going here for years, and the stakes frankly are the reason, usually sourced and cooked to perfection, the waiting staff are expected to know the food well, and do.

The mood music is a bit garish and loud making conversation difficult at times.

And all that being said, they're not 100% on quality, like anywhere, they have their bad days, a recent sirloin or rump, (I forget which my dining compression ordered), was a bit on the chewy side, but they took it seriously, and listened to feedback.

They also wrote a birthday message for my dining companion on the desert we ordered job learning it was her birthday - which was a lovely gesture, and a sign they listened to what we had to say to them from the moment we arrived, even as we were past between staff members.

All in all, I would recommend them - even in the rare day the food isn't it's best they will put on a great experience.
