Another Desi pub to add to my list. Went on Thursday with a mate and had the Special Biryani. "Delicious" equal size portion to the Red Lion in West Brom who call it the Hyderbadi Biryani, made with tender lamb, chicken and King Prawn, equally as tasty.
My mate had the small Mixed Grill which was plentiful and tasty.
In response to the negative comments made by one reviewer about it not being a pub and Grill. "IT IS" that is how they cook Tika, This is now a curry pub, this is what Desi pubs are. Not the old chewy steak and chips pub it used to be. My only criticism, is that there could be more traditional Punjabi dishes on the menu using Methi.
That said i enjoyed my meal here that much, I went back 3 days later for another feast. The Chilli fries are Superb, I look forward to my next visit

The fact that a sign outside this 'pub' says 'bar and grill' is a complete lie. After sitting down to see that the interior has not changed then having to collect flimsy menus and see that it is all curry-based cuisine, one of the staff did point out to us that there were mixed grills on the menu, however they were simply more curry-based items; not a classic mixed grill. One positive thing I can say is that the steak on the sign outside looked lovely, just a shame it wasn't on the menu.
