I probably do not look upper class enough to be treated with courtesy here. The place was highly recommended by a friend, but I do not recommend it to anyone who looks Asian. They appear to want to serve only people that look like them.

The worst experience I have ever had. Rude waitress, that never smiled and acted as she made us a favor each time she approached our table. It took us 15 minutes to place an order (she ignored us), and then another 30 minutes till we got our soup. She also insisted on charging us for dished we didn't get. We asked to see the manager. The manager came, didn't apologize, just confirmed that there was a mistake.
The food was just ok. I'm sure there are tastier places in Dresden, and any service would be better than what we experienced today.

Nice decor with outdoor seating, and good food to match. Has a decent variety of dishes that transcends the strict bounds of traditional German fare, including a few more vegetable dish/side dish options than is typical in Germany. Desserts and drinks are also decent. Reasonably/moderately priced for what you get and given the setting right next to Frauenkirche.
