Parking was available on premises, but they were having issues with the door the day we arrived. Check in process extremely easy. The next morning we missed the breakfast time but they were very happy to recommend a nearby cafe that was excellent. Staff always extremely friendly and great with the kids.

We had a choice on room in the end went for the 30quid more room which was an executive suite and it's fantastic really spacious for a family of three maybe fine for 4. Great location quick access to a bus route and a lot of things within 5 10 mind walk. Prince's street about 15 20 min walk. Old town very close and new town! My only negative too much chlorine in the pool making my child and ourselves cough alot! Another family were complaining of the same. Will knock a star off for that.

I’ve stayed at this Novotel a couple of times - it’s my favourite hotel in Edinburgh. The beds are super comfy, with a nice bedroom layout. Staff are very welcoming and the breakfast is delicious! There is a nice pool jacuzzi steam room and Sauna too.

Fab hotel, stayed here loads of times. Rooms are great, only problem is no sink in the toilet so it's a nuisance having to walk into the shower room during the night to wash your hands. Hotel has nice atmosphere and pool area is nice. Only problem I always have is that the bar staff leave you standing for ages without even acknowledging you are waiting. Otherwise everything is great, location is fab too.

Overall a very enjoyable stay with a very comfortable room. Breakfast was very good although a little crowded at times.

On small point which you could address - my wife is in a wheelchair so cannot use the rotating entrance door. But the other 2 'single' doors are not power operated so I when we got to the hotel, each time I had to go inside and manually open one of the other doors so she could enter. Perhaps you should consider making one of those doors power operated with a wheelchair button on both the outside and inside.
