The hotel was located close to the center of th city that helped us in going around. The room is a bit small but it had all the basic amenities. Parking is not present in the hotel premises, however, they offer 50% discount on overnight parking rates at a private parking facility close by. The highlight of the room was the 50 inch TV.

Friendly staff. Has a lift. Offers non smoking rooms though walking through a smoking area to get to ours was not great. Offers discount on parking garage. Within walking distance of several shopping areas.

Just spent a few nights at the hotel. Very helpful, welcoming staff. Room was adequate and clean and the bathroom was almost band new. Free toiletries were provided and towels were changed every day. Also provided were bottles of water, tea/coffee and biscuits. There was free Wifi throughout the building. Full Scottish breakfast buffet was included in the room rate...and it also included fresh fruit. Architecturally, it's a very interesting building. Obviously a place of grandeur in former years and must cost the hotel's owners a fortune on maintenance. Don't particularly like that part of Argyle street but it's just a stone's throw from the Central Station and for the price, this hotel is ok.

Convenient downtown location and that is about it. Bathroom was rough and room not much better. Clean though and adequate for a night. Breakfast was OK.

Decent room but no air conditioning and was cold one minute and earn the next. Bath also had black mould. All in all was decent, free bottles of water and usual tea/coffee stuff. Breakfast was a buffet style breakfast and was more than decent enough
